Multi Modal Export Operator | Basildon, Essex
£32,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
We are recruiting an experienced Multi Modal Export Operator to join an established global freight forwarding and logistics company based in Basildon.
You will manage export and cross trade shipments across air, road and sea, working closely with clients, overseas agents, carriers, customs authorities and internal departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing export bookings, enquiries and key accounts
- Coordinating air, road and sea freight shipments
- Arranging collections and overseas deliveries
- Preparing customs and export documentation
- Liaising with carriers, hauliers, 3PL providers and overseas agents
- Negotiating competitive supplier rates
- Monitoring shipments and maintaining accurate records
- Completing export and cross trade invoicing
The successful candidate will have proven multi modal export and cross trade experience within freight forwarding. You will be organised, commercially aware and confident managing international shipments from booking through to delivery.
Own transport is desirable due to the company’s location.
