Noble Recruiting is working with a well-established business in Brentwood, Essex, to recruit an experienced CNC Miller for a permanent, full-time opportunity. This is an excellent role for a skilled machinist who enjoys precision engineering, takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants to join a friendly, hardworking team. The successful candidate will have recent experience working with lathes, milling machines and grinders, alongside the ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.

- £36,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Permanent, full-time position
- 4-day working week rota, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:15 pm

Duties will include
- Operating manual lathes, milling machines and grinders using Siemens controls
- Tool building and assembly
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance
- Supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes
The successful candidate will need
- Recent experience as a CNC Setter or CNC Miller working with lathes, turning machines and grinders
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with a range of materials, particularly metals
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Own transport due to the location of the client site
