Warehouse Operative | West Thurrock, Essex
£23,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
We are recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse team based in West Thurrock, Essex. This is a permanent warehouse role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, being part of a team and keeping things moving in a busy logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
• Loading and unloading containers
• Handballing goods and using pump trucks
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Moving, stacking, labelling and wrapping pallets
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Stock replenishment and stock consolidation
• Handling goods safely to reduce damage
• Working with the warehouse team to meet daily deadlines
Experience required
• Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage
• Physically fit and confident with manual handling
• Able to read and follow picking lists accurately
• Reliable, punctual and happy working as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
