LCL Export Operator | Location: Purfleet, Essex
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum

An established freight forwarding company in Purfleet is looking for an LCL Export Operator to join its growing sea freight team. This role is ideal for someone with one to two years of export experience who understands LCL shipments, documentation and freight coordination.
You will manage LCL export shipments from booking through to completion, making sure cargo moves smoothly, documentation is accurate, and customers are kept updated.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate LCL export shipments
• Arrange collections, deliveries and carrier bookings
• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents
• Prepare and check export documentation
• Monitor warehouse deliveries and consolidation schedules
• Update customers throughout the shipment process
• Resolve operational queries and delays
• Maintain accurate records on internal systems
• Support invoicing and general export administration
Your Experience
• One to two years of sea freight export experience
• Knowledge of LCL shipments and consolidation
• Understanding of export documentation
• Experience within freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confident communication skills
