Ductwork Estimator
Location: Canvey Island, Essex
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (3:00 pm finish on Fridays)
Noble Recruiting are working in partnership with a leading mechanical services company based in Canvey Island, Essex. We are seeking an experienced Ductwork Estimator or Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in mechanical estimating and ventilation systems. This is a full-time, office-based role within a professional and proactive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate take-offs and estimates from mechanical layout drawings and schematics
- Source and procure building materials based on project requirements
- Manage the tendering process, track quotes, and negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Liaise with Site Managers and clients to clarify project needs
- Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Produce purchase orders and maintain budget tracking against quotes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Ductwork Estimating or Quantity Surveying
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawings
- Prior experience in the ductwork or mechanical sector is preferred
- Proficient communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Ensign estimating software is an advantage
