POS Designer – Brentwood, Essex | Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum | Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Noble Recruiting is working with a leading POS design and manufacturing company based in Brentwood, Essex, who are looking to recruit an experienced POS Designer on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is ideal for a Designer with strong POS industry experience, particularly within retail display design, and a solid understanding of woodwork, metalwork and plastics.
As a POS Designer, you will be responsible for designing bespoke point-of-sale displays for major UK retailers. You will work in a fast-paced retail manufacturing environment, managing designs from initial concept through to production.
You will use SolidWorks CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite to produce accurate, production-ready designs, working closely with internal manufacturing teams to meet tight retail deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bespoke POS displays for leading retailers
- Produce detailed designs using SolidWorks CAD
- Prepare and set up artworks or liaise with artworking teams
- Work with materials including wood, metal and plastics
- React quickly to changing briefs and tight lead-times
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and production
- Collaborate with internal teams across design, production and project management
About You
- Proven experience as a POS Designer or Retail Display Designer
- Strong knowledge of POS manufacturing processes
- Solid understanding of woodwork, metalwork and plastic fabrication
- Experienced with SolidWorks CAD software
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Experience setting up artworks or understanding of artworking processes
- Highly organised, reactive and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
- Degree or apprenticeship qualified in Design, Engineering, Product Design or similar (preferred)
