Noble Recruiting are working with a well established engineering business in Billericay to recruit an experienced CNC Turner Setter. This role would suit someone with strong CNC turning experience who is confident setting, operating and producing high quality components to tight tolerances.
You will be joining a skilled engineering team, working from technical drawings and ensuring all components are produced accurately, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC turning machines
- Produce precision components to technical drawings and specifications
- Work to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carry out checks on finished parts using measuring equipment
- Adjust settings where needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Support smooth production flow within the machine shop
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
- Work closely with the wider engineering and production team
Experience required
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner, CNC Setter or CNC Machinist
- Confident setting and operating CNC lathes
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of precision engineering and machining processes
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable, practical and able to work well as part of a team
