European Road Freight Operator, Export Groupage, Stanford le Hope, Essex

Noble Recruiting are working with a leading freight forwarding company in Stanford le Hope to recruit an experienced European Road Freight Operator to join their export groupage team. This role would suit someone with solid experience in European road freight, export operations and groupage services, who is confident managing freight movements from origin through to final destination.
You will be responsible for coordinating European export shipments, liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers, and ensuring all documentation, costings and customs paperwork are completed accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Handle European export groupage services
- Arrange freight movements from origin to final destination
- Coordinate both international and national transport requirements
- Liaise with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
- Calculate and send out costings and charges
- Complete customs paperwork accurately
- Monitor shipments and keep customers updated
- Support the export team with day to day road freight operations
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and on time
Experience required
- Experience in European road freight is essential
- Previous experience within export groupage would be highly beneficial
- Good understanding of freight forwarding and transport operations
- Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and overseas partners
- Strong attention to detail with documentation and customs paperwork
- Organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines
