Branch Manager

£45,000 to £55,000 plus discretionary annual bonus

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm
Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join a well-established hire and sales business in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident manager to take ownership of a busy branch, lead a team of 12, and drive performance across operations, sales and customer service.
This role would suit someone with strong commercial awareness, previous branch leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to managing both people and process.
Duties include:

Managing the day-to-day running of the branch
- Leading, motivating and overseeing a team of 12 staff
- Planning, monitoring and controlling resources to achieve budgeted turnover and profit
- Maintaining and developing existing client accounts across the branch territory
- Driving new business and maximising sales opportunities
- Monitoring staff KPIs and overall branch performance
- Supporting the ongoing training and development of the team
- Taking responsibility for branch security and safe operations
- Monitoring and maintaining debt control procedures
- Overseeing the yard function and ensuring all equipment is maintained and in good working order
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager
- Experience within a hire and sales business would be highly advantageous
- Strong experience managing a P&L
- A proven track record of leading and developing staff
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to drive branch growth
- A full UK driving licence
