We are recruiting a Service Charges & Rent Manager to lead the management of service charges and rent processes across a large housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional with strong leadership, financial management and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage annual service charge budgets and rent setting.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a customer-facing team to deliver an excellent resident experience.
- Oversee service charges, estate charges, utility billing and sinking funds.
- Produce financial reports and present to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and support system enhancements.
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience in service charge and rent management within housing.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, leasehold management and Section 20 consultations.
- Experience leading teams and delivering service improvements.
- Excellent budgeting, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree or equivalent experience. CIH qualification is desirable.
