Production Operative | Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, permanent, 3-week rotating shift pattern
Shifts: Earlies 5:00 am–1:30 pm | Lates 1:00 pm–9:30 pm | Nights 9:00 pm–5:30 am
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join an established manufacturing business in Stanford-le-Hope. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recent UK production or manufacturing experience to train within a specialised decanting and blending operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tanker receipts, despatches, blending and product movements
- Complete decanting operations safely and accurately
- Follow written works orders and production schedules
- Maintain high housekeeping and equipment care standards
- Monitor production progress and report issues to the Team Leader
- Follow all site Health & Safety procedures
- Assist with general production and site operations
- Undertake manual handling and heavy lifting where required
Candidate Requirements
- Recent experience within a UK production or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety within manufacturing
- Able to follow detailed written operational instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable and able to commit to rotating early, late and night shifts
- Driving licence and own transport essential due to location
