Merchandising Assistant(s) Christmas Seasonal Location: Rochford, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some weekend cover required
Contract: Temporary, approximately 5 to 6 weeks with potential to extend
Start: ASAP
Noble Recruiting is recruiting Seasonal Merchandising Assistants to support our client during their busy Christmas period. This is a full-time temporary retail role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, creating attractive displays and keeping a busy shop floor looking its best.
What you will be doing
• Creating and maintaining attractive Christmas and seasonal displays
• Setting up themed areas across the store
• Replenishing stock throughout the day
• Unpacking, sorting and pricing seasonal products
• Keeping displays tidy, organised and fully stocked
• Updating displays as stock levels and promotions change
• Helping customers and answering queries when required
• Supporting other areas of the store during busy periods
What we are looking for
Previous retail, merchandising or shop floor experience would be helpful, although a positive attitude and willingness to get involved are just as important.
You will need to be:
• Reliable and available for the duration of the temporary assignment
• Confident speaking with customers
• Organised and able to work in a busy retail environment
• Happy to work across different departments when needed
• Available for occasional weekend work with a day off during the week
• Able to travel to Rochford easily, as public transport to the site is limited
