CNC Setter / Miller / Programmer

Monday to Thursday 6.45 am to 4.30 pm – 4-day week

Noble Recruiting are recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Miller Programmer to join an established engineering company in Southend on Sea, Essex. This permanent CNC Setter Programmer job is focused on CNC milling, programming, setting and running CNC Mills. This role would suit a CNC Setter, CNC Miller, CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist with experience using HAAS, Bridgeport, Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
Duties
• Programme, set and run CNC Mills
• Work on first and second operation machining
• Use HAAS, Bridgeport, Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Carry out first off checks and job run inspections
• Work with a range of metals
• Maintain machine efficiency, quality and production targets
• Reduce scrap, rework and downtime
• Complete daily checks and cycle time sheets
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years CNC setting experience
• CNC milling experience essential
• Able to programme, set and run CNC machines
• Able to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Automotive, aerospace or defence experience would be beneficial
