A leading construction business is expanding its team and looking for a Buyer from the Construction Industry.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for Sourcing and producing a wide range of materials for various projects in the Commercial, Retail, Residential and Education sectors.
This role will allow you to be involved in a diverse range of projects
- Build, maintain and improve supplier relationships
- Identify new supplier opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, terms and products
- Manage the supply chain to ensure all materials are delivered to the site
- Work closely with the Projects team to ensure they have all the correct materials to complete each project in the time frame
- Conduct site visits when necessary to monitor and assess material quality
- Ad-hoc duties
Your Experience
- Experience in a Buying or Procurement role within the Construction Industry
- Experience with supplier management and negotiation skills
