Fuels Technician, Stanford-le-Hope
Salary from £34,000 to £36,000 per annum, based on experience
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm
Chemistry Degree and Fuels Laboratory Experience Essential
We are seeking an experienced Fuels Technician for our client in Stanford-le-Hope. Working across the Oil, Automotive, Aerospace and Motorsport industries, you will manage complex technical projects, formulate fuel blends and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
Your role:
• Manage multiple fuel projects from start to finish
• Independently formulate a wide range of fuel blends
• Use blend formulation models and empirical blending techniques
• Carry out and support standard fuel testing
• Troubleshoot technical issues across production, logistics and commercial operations
• Support raw material specification, sourcing, testing and approval
• Identify new applications for fuel products
• Support customer meetings and technical discussions
• Provide pre and post sales technical support
• Help identify and implement improved Technical Services processes
• Mentor and support the wider technical team
• Maintain high HSE standards across all projects and activities
