    The Job:

    Our client is a growing Financial Services Company based in Basildon, Essex, looking for a Team Manager to work the late shift 2pm until 10pm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing day to day operations of a collections call centre environment. Ensure accounts are collected in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal performance standards in order to meet or exceed the monthly goal  objectives of the department budget.
    • Interface with varying levels of management, customers and staff.
    • Support of 15-25 collectors, which includes daily responsibility of coaching, motivation, monitoring, performance feedback, and technical assistance, focusing on quality and productivity.
    • Identify problems or issues in processes and implement solutions bringing bottom line results.
    • Must be resourceful in developing alternative solutions and meeting deadlines in a real time, fast paced environment.
    • Work in a team environment.

    This role is in a busy team which is fast paced and you will be expected to be resourceful and quick to develop alternative solutions to meet real-time deadlines.

    The Person:

    You will be a self-motivated experienced team manager with a contact centre background (preferred but not essential).  You will of fine tuned your people management skills in a similar role and will be flexible with the ability to work up to 10 pm weekdays.

    Experience required:

    • Personal computer experience is required.
    • Uses computerised system for documentation, tracking performance, data gathering and/or troubleshooting.
    • Using established procedures and working under limited to no direct supervision.
    • Requires extensive coaching/developing skills.
    • Ability to quickly get up to speed about the Companies products, and/or services.
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are required.
    • Team working with the ability to plan and problem solve.
