Sales Executive - Building Product Sales
My client is one of the South East's leading distributors Building Products.
As a result of increased activity they now have a vacancy for a Sales Executive within the Building Products Division.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the busy Sales Team. The role is both reactive and proactive; we're looking for someone who is efficient in dealing with incoming enquiries but is also confident at developing new business.
The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for our customer base so customer service skills are a key requirement. The role also involves inputting orders, maintaining sales records and working closely with all other functions of the business.
The Sales Executive will be required to manage an existing Account Portfolio alongside generating customer interest from both Trade and Members of the Public. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
The job will involve:
Developing long term relationships and key accounts.
Visiting key accounts.
Dealing with enquiries and assisting with specifications for various projects.
Liaising and negotiating with manufacturers and customers.
Applicants are required to have the following skills and experience
Experience of working in a customer facing, internal sales or account management role with a demonstrable track record of success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong customer service and relationship skills.
Product knowledge within the Building and Construction Industry (desirable)
Able to work under pressure.
Liaising and negotiating skills.
Attention to detail.
